One of the most established Truths every single Genuine Christian believer must embrace is the Basic Role of the Family. Every single nation upon the Earth is the offspring of a society which in turn was birthed by people. Every individual came out of a family; simply put, the very first contact any person born into this world after coming out of his or her mother's womb makes is with the Family Unit. The ramified implication here is that every child's perception of the external world is moulded by the regular routine he observes within the Family setting (Prov. 22:6). Every parent has a Divinely Ordained Responsibility to embody God's Kingdom in the family because that would begin to shape a Structured Kingdom Paradigm in the psyche of the children as they grow (Eph. 6:4). We, as parents, have a Divine Mandate to train our children in the Principles of God which are an Expression of His Values. It is these Values that serve as the Foundation upon which their lives are built as they interact with other critical Institutions such as the Organized Church and the Educational Institution.
Herein lies the Crux of the matter: The First Church of the growing child is the home, the First School of the child is also the same home and the First Government that child would experience is still in the same home. No wonder the popular saying doesn't go "Charity begins in the Church or in the school or in the government house" but rather it emphatically states that "Charity begins AT HOME." The impressions we give and examples we model at home would inevitably shape our children's attitude to the Church Assembly as well as the school setting (Lk. 2:52). The best training you can ever give your children is to instil Godly and Christian Values within them while teaching them how to build other dimensions of their lives through the other relevant institutions. The onus lies upon us as Genuine Christian believers to acknowledge that the strength of any nation is anchored upon the strength of its Family Structure. The Lord God Almighty grant us Understanding of our role as our children's first pastors, teachers and governors.
