The Authentic Christian Life is firmly established upon Three Major Pillars: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. It is on this basis that we as Genuine Christian believers must endeavour to catch a Revelation of our Blessed Hope and Assurance in Christ. The Holy Bible is the only Sacred Religious or Spiritual Document that clearly gives a Detailed Understanding of life after death, one Truth which establishes Christianity above the religions of the world. Regarding the issue of the Resurrection of the dead, Apostle Paul said the following to the Church of believers in Corinth: "If our Hope in Christ is only on things of this world, we are of most men miserable" (1 Cor. 15:19). When Mary and Martha lost their only brother Lazarus to the cold hands of death and the news got to the Lord Jesus, He informed His Disciples after supposedly delaying for three extra days that Lazarus was asleep even though he was obviously dead from the human perspective. We as Christian believers don’t die, but rather we fall asleep since we have the Hope of Resurrection at the Last Day when that Great Trumpet of the Rapture shall sound.
Concerning the Rapture of the Saints, the Holy Scriptures declare to us the following: “The dead in Christ shall arise and we who are alive and remain in Faith SHALL BE CAUGHT UP together with the Lord" (1 Thess. 4:13-18). The aforementioned phrase "caught up" refers to the Rapture of the Righteous saints. Therefore, whenever a Christian believer sleeps in the Lord, we are not supposed to cry like the people of the world who have no Hope because the phenomenon called death is simply a transition into our Eternal Glory. We shall, on the Last Day, be reunited with all of our loved ones who have fallen asleep in Christ. The Lord Jesus told Mary that if only she would believe, then she would see the Glory of the Lord. This is because He is the Resurrection and the Life and whosoever believes in Him shall never die or experience the Second Death (Jn. 11:21-26). The Jews celebrate annually the Feast of First-fruits, one of the Seven Holy Convocations that the Lord God Almighty gave not just to the Jews but to the entire world (Lev. 23:10). One Major Significance of the Feast of First-fruits or Harvest is that Jesus was the First Fruit of everyone who would rise up from the dead (1 Cor. 15:20). As we fast approach the countdown to the Great Tribulation, may the Lord God Almighty give us a Deeper Revelation of our Blessed Hope, helping us to keep on living Holy lives (1 Jn. 3:3) as well as living in time with Eternity in perspective and enduring through to the very end (Heb. 12:2).
