There's nothing without a beginning that doesn't have an end as well as a course that inevitably leads to that end. This Truth is so profound that the onus lies upon us to identify and chart our Unique Course in this life. This particular Course has been entrusted to us by the Lord God Almighty Himself. One major trait of any good manufacturer is his ability to define the specific purpose and function of his product. On this premise, we can safely deduce that God was Intentional during the Creation of Mankind. Therefore, His Primary Purpose for the latter was to become exactly like and act like Him (Gen. 1:26-27). Adam was created in God's Own Image before the Fall. As long as he was manifesting God's Image instead of his own, he was accomplishing the Latter's Purpose and Mandate rather than his own.
The Lord Jesus arrived this Earth through the Virgin Birth and, through His Death on the Cross, restored us back to the Original Dominion we had in Adam (1 Jn. 3:8b). The Song of the Angels and Twenty-four Elders documented in the Book of Revelation reveals to us the Primary Reason for the Creation of Mankind: "You are Worthy, O Lord, to receive Glory and Honour and Power; For You created all things, AND BY YOUR WILL THEY EXIST AND WERE CREATED" (Rev. 4:11). His Will here speaks about "His Desire and His Pleasure." Since our existence is primarily for the Purpose of pleasing God, then the first thing to do is to seek Him because we find ourselves when we find Him. Our Glory is found hidden within His Glory and our strength is concealed within His Strength. Of a Truth, we are "self-sufficient in Christ's Sufficiency" (Phil. 4:13b AMP Classic).
Unless a man discovers his Purpose and Essence, he would never locate his Course. Until you discover and finish your Course, you can never have a sense of fulfilment (Acts 20:24). This then begs the question: Whose course are you charting and why? This is extremely important because God will only approve of His Own Course which He specifically entrusted to you (Prov. 19:21). Every Genuine Christian believer has a Peculiar Assignment with an equally Unique Process and Path to follow. Let us fasten our eyes squarely on the Goal and Course He has set before us so that we may escape the Eternal Heartache of running in vain (1 Cor. 3:15).
