There is so much power that is concealed within words, having an impact on those who give and receive them, whether written or spoken. Words communicate Knowledge and express feelings, altering someone's mood completely by igniting a spark within. The true power of any king worth his salt is found within his ability to be decisive. Having considered all sound counsel, the king can then swiftly assess the current reality of things, subsequently making timely and strategic decisions. It is through a king's utterances that the Full Power of the Word of the Lord is meant to be expressed. The Holy Bible is far beyond mere human writings but rather consists of Sacred Texts authored by God Almighty Himself, containing a Unique Power to transform the human heart in order to "Make us wise for Salvation" (2 Tim. 3:15).
The Holy Scriptures enlighten our minds, unveil God's Glorious Plan of Salvation, teach us His Ways and reveal to us how to live as His people. The Word of the King of kings is so Powerful that He spoke the vast cosmos into existence (Gen. 1:3), silenced raging storms and summoned a dead Lazarus back to life (Mk. 4:35-41; Jn. 11:38-44). The Word of God is the Armour of every Genuine Christian believer with which we engage in Spiritual Warfare (2 Cor. 10:3-6). There is not a single person who can successfully navigate his way through the storms of life without having a firm grip on God's Word (Ps. 119:9). The Word of God nourishes the Christian believer and equips him to grow in the Lord. Spiritual weakness is the inevitable result of a lack of a regular reading of the Word. Failure in Christianity always stems from an abstinence of the Word (Amos 8:11). Every single disciplined Christian believer who yearns to grow and overcome the devil must cultivate a habit of consistency in the study of God's Word.
The Lord Jesus Christ overcame the devil with the Word which is the Source of Victory to all Christian believers (Matt. 4:4, 6, 10). All of us who are Christian saints are kings and priests. A king is the most important and prominent member of his Royal family. He is often the ceremonial leader or head of state of his country. This basically means that God has granted us Absolute Authority over all the power of the enemy because of our status as kings and priests (Rev. 1:6; Lk. 10:19; Matt. 18:18). Whatever we bind on Earth is already bound in Heaven. Therefore, our Prosperity and Good Success is established squarely in the Word of God (Josh. 1:8). Based on this, let us all arise as New Testament Priests and Kings, using our words to recreate the world we desire to see, one which radiates the Glory of the King of kings Himself.
