The Lord God Almighty Himself created the Earth and granted man Absolute Dominion over the Works of His Hands. Even though Mankind fell in the Garden, he still exercises a certain degree of control over Creation. Mankind even in his fallen state since Creation has been able to subdue the Earth and continually maintains some control over everything that God has created. However, there are certain degrees of Authority and Dominion which are exclusive to Genuine Christian believers who understand their Place beside Christ Jesus at the Right Hand of God (Eph. 2:6). This is known as Prophetic Dominion which is an exclusive Right and Responsibility of every True Christian believer. Prophetic Dominion has to do with enforcing things on Earth directly from God's Own Realm. There are certain things that can easily be controlled and orchestrated in the natural but certain levels of enforcement must be done from Higher Dimensions of Authority. Christ Jesus demonstrated Prophetic Dominion while He was on Earth. He commanded Obedience from the seas, the wind and all the elements. Every great prophet of old commanded Prophetic Dominion: Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha and a host of nameless faceless others. Jesus granted us the Power to do everything He did on Earth (Jn. 14:12). What this means is that we can speak to the winds and the waves, expecting to be obeyed by them.
Prophetic Dominion has diverse Tools which can be deployed for our benefit as Christian believers. Some instances include: a. THE WIND. b. THE EARTH. c. THE SUN AND THE MOON d. THE STARS. e. ANGELS.
Until we first of all understand our Position in Christ, we would never be able to fully deploy these Tools and enjoy the unfathomable Wealth of Resources that God has made available for our benefit on Earth. Until then, we would remain hamstrung and limited just like normal mortals and the devil would continue to make a mockery of our Salvation. Let us take a look at how we can deploy and exercise Prophetic Dominion:
1. PRAYER: (Jam. 5:17-18) We see how the Prayer of Elijah withheld and released rain over the land of Israel.
2. THE ROD: (Ex. 7:10,15,20; 14:16) This symbolizes Authority, which we see Moses the Lawgiver use to bend the elements of Earth at God's Command in order to bring His people Victory.
3. SPEAKING UNDER THE ANOINTING: (Matt. 8:26; Mk. 4:39) The Holy Scriptures reveal Jesus speaking to the elements multiple times, and they obey Him (Josh. 10:12-13). Joshua also commanded the Sun and the Moon to stand still and the Sun stayed out in its place for a whole day.
