THE POWER OF COMMANDING PRAYER

Bible reading

MATTHEW 21:21; MATTHEW 17:20; PSALM 115:16

Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and His Maker, “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the Work of My Hands command ye Me.
Isaiah 45:11 (KJV)

From the aforementioned Scripture, we have been made to clearly see that the Works of the Lord and all of Creation always answer without fail to a Dimension of Prayer referred to as Commanding Prayer. In order to put all of this into the proper context, the word "command" also literally means "to demand." That was exactly how the Lord God Almighty created the whole Universe in the first place (Gen. 1:3). He didn't beg or appeal to anything to come forth. He didn't wish anything into existence. He never willed anything into being. On the contrary, He simply commanded them to come forth and they did so with alarming speed (Heb. 1:3). However, the only being He created that equally possesses the capacity to command or call forth things into being is man himself (1 Jn. 4:17b). The ramified implication here is that God Almighty Himself created man to function on His Behalf on Earth by making him a little lower than the Godhead (Ps. 8:5). He granted Adam absolute Authority over the Earth and gave him Power over all of Creation. In other words, as far as the Earth is concerned, man is God's Instituted Authority which is why when the Lord Jesus restored unto the former his Authority, He ascended into Heaven to secure his Dominion and He expects us to implement it at His Behest.

If we as True Christian believers really long to change the narrative, then we must of necessity understand our own Restored Authority in the Name of Jesus. The English word "Authority" originates from the Greek term "Exousia" which literally means "to have control over" and also "to have supremacy." The Authority which we possess in the Name of Jesus transcends any Authority and that is the Power that overcomes the world (1 Jn. 5:4-5). We need to rediscover our Authority in Christ because that is our Foundation. Anytime you pray concerning Creation, you must first understand that they respond to Authority so whenever you command by Christ Jesus' Authority, His Holy Name is unleashed as the Power to command and the Earth will align with us (Phil. 2:10).

Prayer

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we magnify You for Your Love towards us. O Lord, please grant us the Grace to imbibe Your Word through the Power of Your Spirit in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
