CONSISTENCY IN PRAYER

Bible reading

REVELATION 8:3; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17; PHILIPPIANS 4:6; 1 SAMUEL 12:23

I exhort therefore that first of all, Supplications, Prayers, Intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.
1 Timothy 2:1 (KJV)

Prayer is one of the Most Powerful Forces existing in the Kingdom of God. Anyone who expects genuine relevance in God's Kingdom must have a comprehensive grasp of the Role of Prayer as it is connected to his/her Spiritual Development. A Fruitful and Successful Walk with the Lord without the presence of a Living Prayer Altar is completely impossible. No True Christian believer alive can survive, let alone thrive without having a Prayer Life because the Ministry of Prayer is one of the inclusive responsibilities of all the saints of God (2 Chron. 7:14). Every Movement and Initiative in the Kingdom of God is powered by Fervent Prayer. The Journey into the Realm of the Spirit starts with Prayer therefore in order to wield considerable influence in the Realm of the Spirit, you must first of all become a person of Prayer.

The Lord Jesus taught His Disciples during His Earthly Ministry "that men ought always to pray and not to faint" (Lk. 18:1b). What are the ramified implications of this Powerful Lesson? Those people who haven't cultivated the discipline of praying consistently inevitably faint or become faint in most areas of their lives. We all learn from basic human anatomy that one of the major reasons people faint is a lack of oxygen supplied to the brain via the blood. In such cases people become "light-headed" due to oxygen deprivation. Simply put, Prayer is to our spirit man what oxygen is to the human body. From all indications, we start dying and drying on the Vine anytime we neglect our Prayer Altars (Jn. 15:1-4).

Prayer

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we are eternally grateful for Your Love towards us. O Lord, we pray that the eyes of our Understanding be enlightened to fully comprehend the importance of praying without ceasing in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
