The Currency of Time is one of the most priceless and important Resources with which the Lord God Almighty has established every single individual in equal measure. As we Genuine Christian believers function in the Dominion Mandate, we need to of necessity have a deeper sense of urgency, "making the most of every opportunity for the days are evil" (Eph. 5:16 NIV). Benjamin Franklin, an original founding father of the United States of America, co-author of the American Constitution in 1787 and versatile polymath once uttered these timeless and priceless words of Wisdom: "Dost thou love life? Then squander not time for that is the stuff that life is made of." Simply put, the Stewardship of Time is something we all have an obligation to fully comprehend, especially those of us who are Christian believers.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, King Solomon once made this deep and remarkable statement: "To everything there is a season, A TIME FOR EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN" (Ecc. 3:1). In other words, understanding and taking full advantage of the Diverse Seasons of life is one critical responsibility that has been given to all of us. The lack of proper preparation right in the middle of one's season is one of the worst tragedies under the Sun for "He has made everything beautiful IN ITS TIME..." (Ecc. 3:11a). Anytime opportunities meet with preparation, breakthroughs become inevitable therefore the Holy Bible exhorts us to "gird up the loins of our minds" (1 Pet. 1:13), an idiomatic expression which literally means we must always be ready and alert.
Our adversary satan, also known as the devil, continually roams around and seeks whom to devour (1 Pet. 5:8) for he has mastered the art of capitalizing on even the smallest of opportunities afforded him. We must never forget that if you give him even an inch, his ultimate goal is to eventually become a ruler over you. On this premise, the Lord Jesus Christ warns us to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matt. 10:16b). The implication as well as the application of this exhortation is that we must possess a similar sense of urgency, making the most of the limited Time at our disposal during this Season of Harvest because "he WHO SLEEPS IN HARVEST is a son who causes shame" (Prov. 10:5b).
