Being enrolled into the Service of the Most High God is one of the greatest privileges any person with Prophetic Insight can ever dream of receiving. This Truth is underscored by the fact that the same sentiment was echoed by none other than King David himself who said: "For a day in Your Court is better than a thousand. I WOULD RATHER BE A DOORKEEPER IN THE HOUSE OF MY GOD THAN DWELL IN THE TENTS OF WICKEDNESS" (Ps. 84:10 NKJV).
Let us all pause for a moment and think about this Profound Truth: Serving the Lord God Almighty is the Highest Privilege and Honour rather than a burden. One of the several remarkable things about serving the Lord God Almighty, His Ministers and His Ministry is that He always pays those who serve Faithfully in due season (Gal. 6:9). In other words, God may not pay at the end of the week or the month but He pays in due season, something which can never be hidden.
There are certain Notable Benefits of Christian Service, and we shall examine a few fundamental ones closely:
DIVINE PROSPERITY
There is nobody who truly serves the Lord in Spirit and in Truth who ends up in squalor or abject penury (Job 36:11). Serving God Faithfully transforms an individual into an asset rather than a liability to He "Who has pleasure in the Prosperity of His servants" (Ps. 35:27b).
DIVINE DISTINCTION
One of the truly remarkable things about being actively involved in the Service of God is that He distinguishes us by making us stand out as His Precious Jewels (Mal. 3:17-18).
DIVINE MEMORIAL
There is no single act of Genuine Service offered to God, no matter how seemingly irrelevant, that gets relegated to the background. This is an iron cast guarantee because a Book of Remembrance has a record of our Genuine Acts of Service towards God and man (Mal. 3:16). We must always be reminded of the fact that "God is not unjust to forget your Work and Labour of Love which you have shown toward His Name, IN THAT YOU HAVE MINISTERED TO THE SAINTS, AND DO MINISTER" (Heb. 6:10).
